Clearfield Conveyors

Clearfield Conveyor’s; SPX, HSD2F, HIH and truck mounted conveyors are all heavy duty construction, totally hydraulic and extremely versatile. Conveyors come equipped with a heavy duty belt, especially suited for moving tiles and other materials to the roof. Belt has 4" high dual cleats and is used by roofers and supply houses to make roof-top deliveries of tiles, shingles, plywood, deck slabs, felt, insulation and sheet rock. These units have four hydraulic functions; forward and reverse, a full 360° rotation at a controlled speed of 1/2 r.p.m., boom elevation to a 70° angle and a raising turntable post from 2 1/2’ for waist high roof loading to a 7 1/2’ load clearance level with other options in between. Standard gas powered conveyors and manual turntables are also available.

Technologically Advanced SPX-5 Belt Conveyor Constructed with a 16” wide belt with two 4" rubber cleats bolted on to the cover of the belt. On the backside of the belt is a 1/2” x 7/16” rubber rib that is vulcanized to the belt. This special “tracking rib” runs the length of the conveyor belt traveling between two pieces of steel tubing and around a “grooved” head and tail pulley. This tracking rib is designed to hold the belt in place while the conveyor is in use. This eliminates torn and frayed edges, and dramatically increases the life of the belt. The SPX-5 conveyor offers a solid plate conveyor frame, stop and start control at the top of the conveyor, top drive to pull the belt and a material loading platform. Designed for use with an RTH 3000, 4000 or 6000 series turntable.

RTH Turntables

RTH turntables are the most technologically advanced powered units in the industry. Offers 360° continuous rotation and a low loading height of 24”. Turntables come complete with four hydraulic functions; lift post up and down, elevates boom, forward and reverse belt drive and rotates turntable. RTH turntables are compatible with SPX, HSD2F and HIH series conveyors.

HSD2F Hydraulic Belt Conveyor and Hydraulic Turntables

HSD2F series conveyor is a hydraulic, heavy duty, 1 1/4” steel tube framed conveyor. Designed for moving tile, shingles, shake, plywood, rolled material and other roofing products to the roof top. Equipped with an on-off control at the end of the boom for easy roof-top operation. This conveyor can be installed on any of the five hydraulic gear rotation turntables listed below..

Hydraulic Gear Rotation Turntables All turntables have four hydraulic functions and are permanently mounted on the truck.

Hydraulic Stabilizers

Hydraulic Safety Stabilizers

A recommended option and mandatory on all trucks with conveyors 36’ and longer. Outriggers help stabilize the truck and conveyor when parked on level and unlevel ground. The stabilizer frame is designed to fit all American truck frame dimensions. Hydraulic stabilizer package includes stabilizer frame with two stabilizer legs. Hydraulic cylinders, hoses and fittings for stabilizer legs are included as well as two spool hydraulic valves. Hydraulic hoses for the valve are not included as it is not known in advance where the valve will be mounted to the truck bed.

HIH Conveyor HIH Conveyor

HIH Conveyor is designed for optimum speed and efficiency in loading shingles and related materials to the roof. Delivers 360 bundles of shingles per hour. As with the HSD2F, the five hydraulic turntables are available.

Removable IH Conveyor

IH Conveyor is built with the same frame as the HIH but is powered with either a gas or electric motor and uses a manual turntable. Both conveyor and turntable are easily removable from the truck.
